Message Not the plenum. It is there because the plenum gets so hot, and the TB's have cold outside air entering at them. The dramatic temperature change *could* cause the TB's to stick. Even though I have never heard of this happening. It must just be another over engineering idea from nissan.

I removed mine as well. I would recommend it, its so much easier to take off your plenum later.
